Sub-processors

What this list is
A sub-processor is a service provider that handles personal data for Yekar Technologies Pvt Ltd while we provide yekar.health. These are the providers the service uses today, what each receives and where it processes it. Where our configuration does not fix a region, we say so.
Current sub-processors
Railway
- Purpose
- Runs the yekar.health application server and its PostgreSQL database, with backups.
- Data
- Everything stored for an account: the Apple or Google identifier and email, time zone, goals, reminder settings, water, meals, activities and Apple Health totals.
- Region
- Singapore
Yekar.AI
- Purpose
- Runs the assistant: reads the message a person sends and logs entries for them through our service.
- Data
- The message, with that day's date, time zone, goals and totals, and the conversation so far. No name, email or Apple or Google identifier.
- Region

Cloudflare Pages
- Purpose
- Hosts this website.
- Data
- A visitor's IP address and the pages requested, in transit and in request logs. No app data.
- Region
- Unknown: not fixed in our configuration (Cloudflare's network).
Sign-in providers and Apple Health
Apple and Google are not our sub-processors: when you sign in with them, or allow the app to use Apple Health, you use their services under their own terms. We receive from them only what our Privacy Policy describes.
Changes to this list
We update this page, with a new version number at the top, before a new provider starts handling personal data.
Website enquiries
If you email us or use a WhatsApp link, your email or messaging provider and ours deliver the message. Those messages are covered by our Privacy Policy, not by this list. Do not send health records in a website enquiry.
